In line with Heath and Wellbeing week we’re promoting getting active in clubs and societies. We’ve made a helpful booklet highlighting what sports and societies are available on out campus and some of the local groups you can get involved in!
Check it out here:
If you’re a team player then we have a number of sports clubs at Dumfries campus for you to get involved in or if you can’t find what you’re looking for among our existing sports or societies, students are encouraged to find others with a similar interest. If its not there already, be the one who starts it! Our universities on campus as well as the Crichton Foundation who support us may even be able to provide funding and resources for you to set up a club that matches your interests.
Remember there’s lots to offer in our local community too. Why not check out what clubs already run in Dumfries and give them a try. If you’re looking for a new club, group or sport a good place to look it the councils Clubs and Organisation database
Our Campus is also located in on of the most picturesque parts of the Scottish countryside so why no go out and enjoys it. You can find plenty of visitor attractions and places of interest in and around Dumfries and Galloway by checking out the Visit Scotland website or calling in and speaking to one of the staff at the Visitor Information centre on Whitesands
